After 20 years in business Groovy bits closed its proverbial doors in 2020. Our complete focus now is supporting non profits on the web. We’ve always devoted time to charities and now we can be 100% focused.

Thank you to all the small and large businesses out there that trusted Groovy bits with building (and rebuilding) their web sites. Without your support, we wouldn’t be able to now concentrate wholly on charities.

Groovy bits is proud to support Domestic Violence Solutions (DVS). Since 2006 we’ve partnered with the exceptional staff at DVS to build a web site that provides life-saving and life-altering assistance to adults and children who have experienced domestic abuse in their homes.

Girls Inc of Carpinteria is another organization that we are very happy to support. Their mission to “inspire all girls to be strong, smart and bold” and emphasis on STEM learning is important to me. I was one of only a handful of women in my Chemical Engineering class in 1984. Women and girls can contribute so much more to our society if we support them in all their pursuits.

The Santa Barbara rabbit shelter, Bunnies Urgently Needing Shelter (BUNS), is close to our hearts, too. We have three house rabbits and contribute our time caring for them as well as assisting with the web site.

During the last 20 years in Carpinteria, California, Groovy bits has also helped these non-profits:

Here’s a partial list of the clients for whom we’ve built sites:

  • Action Awards (eCommerce)
  • Afternoon Dream Serum (musician)
  • Big Bug Station (brochure-ware)
  • Carpinteria Sunset Shores (vacation rentals)
  • Longo Law Offices, Dana Longo
